A sweet preview of Amorette’s Patisserie opening soon at Disney Springs

One thing is for sure, the expanded Disney Springs won’t be short for sweet treats to enjoy. Already open are a number of delicious dessert options including The Ganachary, Erin McKenna’s Bakery NYC, and Vivoli Gelato. When the Town Center district opens we’ll add more including Sprinkles Cupcakes (complete with Cupcake ATM for those midnight cravings) and a Disney owned and operated location they’re calling Amorette’s Patisserie.

Amorette’s Patisserie will showcase the talents of Walt Disney World’s world renowned pastry chefs. The chefs will prepare contemporary high-end cakes and pastries with the finishing touches being added in an on-stage kitchen. Like the Ganachary, there will be boutique-style packaging, only here inspired by old-fashioned hatboxes.

Of course, there is an Imagineer created backstory to Amorette’s Patisserie. It was one of the first shops in Town Center opening around 1900, then passed down across generations and is currently owned by artistic sisters Kara and Sara. They put love and care into every pastry that is put up for sale. “Amorette” is close to “Amourette” which means “little love” in French. So it all ties together.

Among the sweet treats Disney plans to offer at Amorette’s Patisserie are: classic maracons, light pavlova, ultimate chocolate-chocolate chunk cookie, plus eclairs, New York-style cheesecake, opera cake and sacher torte, and there will even be some gluten free cakes on the menu.

As you can see from the photos below these are visual works of art too. So be sure to take a picture before you dive in, if you can wait that long.

Look for Amorette’s Patisserie to open in the first expansion of Town Center to open May 15 with most of the rest of the locations open by mid-July.
