With EPCOT’s World Showcase opening at 11AM it can be tough for some of the restaurants at the back of the world to draw a lunch crowd. Reservations may be tough to secure at dinner, but at lunch you can walk in to places like Tutto Italia with no problem.
The team at Tutto Italia wants to change that and they’re offering a special 3-course prix fixe lunch crafted and priced to entice.
You have your choice of four appetizers: Antipasto, Insalata Mista, Caprese, and Minestrone.
For the main course select between: Scaloppine di Pollo, Filetto Di Sogliola, chicken Ceasar Salad, and Spaghetti with meatballs.
Finally, dessert is a tough choice between: Cannolo, Tiramisu, and a trio of Gelati:
For $27 plus tax and tip it’s not that outrageous given the abnormally high prices at other Walt Disney World table service meals. Given the fact that includes a non-alcoholic beverage, it’s actually a good deal.
Keep in mind that this was close to authentic Italian food as you can get in the states. So it’s not like your typical Americanized food. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious.
Dessert sampling included Gelato, Puff pastry with Hazelnut, Cheesecake and Tiramisu. They also brought out a tray of Cannoli. No preference emerged, it was all fantastic. Not all desserts we tasted were on the menu, however.
The special 3-course lunch menu starts May 3rd and runs through August 31st. Food quality was very good. We’ll definitely be back.
