Recording a live version of LAVA from Disney’s Aulani Resort

LAVA-short-first-look

Thanks to Disney’s Aulani Resort in Ko Olina, Oahu, you can now enjoy a large dose of Hawaii’s beautiful scenery along with your pixie dust. Pixar artist James Ford Murphy was inspired by the beauty of Hawaii to write the short and song that became LAVA.

In a new video Murphy plays the Ukulele while Kuana Torres Kahele and Napua Greig gathered to perform the song together live for the first time. This video itself is on Disney Movies Anywhere, but we also have a behind-the-scenes feature about the filming of the music video.

The song has really grown on me. What do you think of the Pixar short LAVA?
