Behind the new animated Christmas Tree at Disneyland Paris

Discover how the magical Christmas tree at Disneyland Paris brings the holiday spirit to Town Square. The tree is 24 meters high and weighs over 24 tons. Almost 18,000 thousand brands hold 1.5km of lights, 288 garlands and decorations. Thanks to this time-lapse video the all-night job appears to take less than a minute:

This year there is new animation in the lights that you’ll see throughout the night and during the new show “Mickey’s Magical Christmas Lights.”

The tree was actually erected in a backstage area in October so the show could be programmed. It was then disassembled and moved to Main Street in November.

I love the animations on the tree and the show is cute. What do you think? Should they bring this to Orlando?
