It’s an annual programming event our household has come to look forward to. Disney’s ABC Family runs 25 days of special holiday-themed entertainment to help ring in the holidays. This year the festive shows will include the network premiere of newly remastered versions of Classic Jim Henson Christmas Specials “The Bells of Fraggle Rock” and “Emmet Otter’s Jug-Band Christmas.” Also, in advance of the premiere of it’s much anticipated series “Shadowhunters,” the network will air a behind the scenes look at the making of the show.

Of course, there are all your favorite holiday specials, classic holiday movies, and returning favorites. Remember ABC Family is becoming Freeform in January 2016, so this may be the last year for the programming event.

I’m looking forward to December 13 which will feature a marathon of Disney∙Pixar’s “Toy Story” films. Of course, the Jim Henson specials will be a treat. It’s been a very long time since I’ve seen either. What are you looking forward to?
