Chocoholics start your engines. A new chocolate shop, The Ganachery, is set to open in The Landing at Disney Springs in late 2015.
Disney sent its chefs around the world to research and create a custom blend of chocolate with the finest beans for the all-new concept that will feature freshly made ganache (gəˈnaSH). Ganache is a luxurious mixture of chocolate and cream, and every chef has their own “perfect” formula for the indulgent sweet.
The delicious treats will be hand-crafted onstage by a chocolatier allowing the shop to feature fresh batches daily, including dark (65 percent custom blend), hazelnut, chipotle and a custom blend flavored with the world’s finest spices and flavors.
For guests who want to take some home, there will be beautiful custom packaging along with chocolate bars inspired by Disney characters.
This will be a Disney operated location, I’ve heard that we’ll also get a few more Disney owned locations as Disney Springs continues to expand. With this location, The Landing is nearly complete. STK Orlando and The Edison are still under construction.
