Disneyland to award guests prizes for 60th Anniversary Diamond Celebration

Dream-Suite-DL-livingroom

Normally when it’s your birthday people bring you gifts, but Disneyland is flipping the funnel for its 60th anniversary. The “Disney Diamond Days” sweepstakes begins May 22nd and will feature daily prizes with a variety of experiences and unique items.

Imagine winning a Disney engraved diamond, a Cinderella glass slipper, or an individualized tour of the parks with preferred access to select attractions, dining and VIP viewing at some of the dazzling, new nighttime spectaculars.

Disneyland Diamond Days will offer guests a weekly opportunity to win exceptional Disneyland Resort prizes and experiences. Appropriately enough, the most exciting prizes are authentic diamonds, custom-engraved for Disney! One- and two-carat Disney Diamonds will be awarded throughout the celebration, and some will commemorate dates with particular significance to the Disneyland Resort. One-carat Disney Diamonds will even be paired with a stay in the Disneyland Dream Suite.

The Disneyland Dream Suite is a private apartment in the space once intended as an apartment for the Disney Family. It is located above the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction in New Orleans Square inside Disneyland. The Dream Suite is filled with magical décor, elegant furnishings and special details that surprise and delight its guests. An overnight stay, including a view of Disneyland after park guests have departed, is a money-can’t-buy experience that will be enjoyed only by a few lucky prize winners.

Weekly prizes include: a clear, crystal Cinderella slipper, adorned with a diamond-and-topaz pendant; plus highly unique experiences that only Disneyland can offer, such as a private party in Fantasyland, a romantic cruise aboard the Mark Twain Riverboat, or a tailgate party in Cars Land. The available prize will vary each week.

Full official rules will be available at Disneyland.com/DiamondDays on May 22, 2015. Right now no end date is announced, but it’s expected to run through the length of the celebration. No word yet if this is a gate giveaway or via prize patrol. But don’t expect them to dig up the dream machine from the 35th anniversary.

Which prize are you most excited about? I’d love a stay in the Dream Suite, of course.

  3. My parents are celebrating their 60th Anniversary on May 14,2015 they were married a week before Disneyland opened and went there on their Honeymoon. We have taken them back for the 25th and the 50th anniversary. We were wondering if their would be any special celebration for people celebrating their 60th anniversary too. Thank You
