While you’re out hopping around Walt Disney World this week, check out these egg-cellent Easter Festivities

  • Delectable chocolate Easter eggs are on display for the fourth year in a row at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The springtime edible works of art are enormous eggs (16 to 20 inches tall) hand-painted, hand-carved and decorated with Disney themes by Disney pastry chefs and then displayed for guests to enjoy inside the resort’s lobby.
  • At Epcot, the Disney Egg-stravaganza Easter egg hunt hatches March 27 through April 5. With a specially themed map in hand, guests may scramble for decorative eggs themed to Disney Characters and place the corresponding sticker on the map to represent that location. Maps and stickers may be purchased for $4.95 (plus tax) at Heritage Manor (American Adventure Pavilion), Pin Central, Plaza Towers (Port of Entry), and World Traveler (International Gateway). Guests may return the map (complete or incomplete) to one of the designated retail locations claim a surprise gift.
  • At Magic Kingdom, Mr. & Mrs. Easter Bunny will be greeting guests in Town Square Courtyard March 22 through April 5.

Although it hasn’t been announced yet, there is usually a small pre-parade on Easter featuring some southern belles and various bunny characters.

This year Easter is very close to Spring Break, which means it will be pretty crowded. Have you ever attended Walt Disney World for Easter?
