Disney’s El Capitan theater is having a Throwback Thursday event next week with a showing of Disney’s animated feature Hercules. The 35th animated Disney feature was released in 1997 and was directed by Ron Clements and John Musker.

The show is at 7pm on August 21. Admission is either general admission or VIP. Both come with refreshments, but only the VIP has reserved seating. Get your tickets at the El Capitan website.

Previously announced special guests include Director/Writer Ron Clements, a two-time Oscar nominee, and Andreas Deja, the supervising animator for Hercules.

Hercules was also just released on a new Disney Blu-ray DVD edition which is now available for purchase on Amazon or a retailer near you.

Here’s a little bit of trivia for you, what other role did Susan Egan play for Disney?

Susan Egan was also in “Lady and the Tramp II: Scamp’s Adventure” as well as doing one of the voices in the English language dub of “Spirited Away”, which was released in the US by Disney. I think she was also in a Disney Channel movie a while back.

Yes, I know you were probably looking for a Broadway role.. :)
