As a student involved in the performing arts in high school, one of my dreams was to travel to Disneyland with our show choir and perform. Alas, we never were able to convince the rest of the choir to fundraise enough money to make the trip. But if you can make it to Disneyland, and pass their audition process, there is a terrific program that gives high school and college performing arts students a taste of what it’s like to work professionally as a performer.
The Disney Performing Arts program is open to groups of 10 or more and includes bands, dance, theater, and vocal performances. It’s available at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland. Learn more about the program at it’s webpage.
