Indigo is back with another installment of “A Kid’s View of Disney.” This time we go on a flying carpet high over Adventureland for a unique POV video.

The Magic Carpets of Aladdin is one of the attractions we have been wanting to ride for some time, but haven’t felt like waiting in a 30+ minute queue for. Although it is possible find a time when the wait time is short, we took advantage of Fastpass+ to score a ride on the flying carpets.

Set right in the middle of Adventureland at the Magic Kingdom, The Magic Carpets of Aladdin provides you a great view of practically the whole land as you twirl around in the air. Since the cars not only go up and down but also pitch back and forth, it might be a little too extreme for some youngsters. But you do have control over both those features. So just be cautious, and watch out for that Camel, it’s spits!

While Dumbo was expanded to two spinners, it was also given a play area to make the wait go faster. Aladdin needs some love and attention from Imagineering too. Right now the wait can be pretty miserable. For that matter, Astro Orbiter is most deserving of an interactive queue.

Which of the three Magic Kingdom spinners is your favorite and why?

  1. Astro Orbiter is definitely my favourite DIsney World spinner. It’s elevated position means you can enjoy spectacular views of Magic Kingdom, especially when you ride it at night time!
