It’s a really bad idea to have this “story” at the top of the blog every day. I’ve come here a couple of times in the past week or so, only to see this Dispatch thing at the top of the blog and assume that there were no new articles to read, so I’ve just left.
I finally realized today that the actual blog articles are continuing underneath this Dispatch thing. My guess is that I’m not the only one, and that there are others who are thinking the same thing — that the blog just isn’t being updated.
Thank you for the feedback. It’s called pinning a post. The color is changed to indicate that it’s stuck to the top. About 40% of visitors to The Disney Blog are ‘new’ each day, at least according to Google Analytics. Therefore, I do occasionally stick important posts to the front page to make sure all visitors get a chance to see them.
