Reader Dan sends in the following video from Disneyland’s newly refurbished, and slightly upgraded, version of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.
Big Thunder Mountain has reopened after a long refurbishment. Disney has revamped the track, painted the mountain, added new life to Rainbow Ridge and has a new explosive finale for the last lift hill in the ride.

That’s is some pretty wild stuff there on the last lift. Can’t wait to see it in person.
Thanks for posting the video. It was fun being part of the AP preview. The employee’s at BTM would systematically clap between trains to build enthusiasm. There was also loud screams and cheers from the passengers every time a new train would dispatch.
Seeing the excitement Disney generates is contagious!
I am glad to see the goat is not gone. BT wouldn’t be the same if the goat was gone.
