Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Construction Update

I had the pleasure of wandering through New Fantasyland earlier this week and was impressed with the progress on the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train roller coaster. The mountain is starting to take its final shape as the skin is layered on. Artisans have started adding the rock work and detail Disney is so famous for. Parts of the mountain are already displaying a near finished look.

The track itself is nearly all installed, but scenery is almost completely absent. The two sneak peek windows Imagineers provided make it easy to see how fast the project is progressing. The as yet unnamed mountain is shaping up to be the shortest in Disney’s mountain range, but its forested bulk should be an impressive presense in Fantasyland when it’s complete.

If you view this photo slideshow on full screen and select view info I’ve added a bit more detail to each picture.

Hope you enjoyed this updated look at the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train roller coaster at the Magic Kingdom. Can’t wait to ride it myself, how about you?

What will the height restriction be for this ride? Is it a fast moving coster compared to Big Thunder Moutian or Space Moutian?
