SPLASH Premieres on ABC Tonight

image

ABC is out with its latest entry into the world of reality TV tonight. Splash promises the requisite moments of angst and embarrassment we ask from shows like this, but with a spin that is admittedly unique.

After weeks of training with professional divers and being mentored by the world’s most decorated and medaled diving legend, Greg Louganis, five of the 10 celebrity contestants will face their fears as they flip, twist and spin into the depths of the pool below. The two with the lowest scores will go head to head in a dive-off to determine who will be the first contestant sent home, on the series premiere of “Splash,” TUESDAY, MARCH 19 (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET).

The following week, the remaining five celebrity contestants will compete and showcase their daring dives.

Five of the following 10 celebrities will dive into the season premiere:
KAREEM ABDUL-JABBAR
LOUIE ANDERSON
DRAKE BELL
CHUY BRAVO
RORY BUSHFIELD
NICOLE EGGERT
 KESHIA KNIGHT PULLIAM
NDAMUKONG SUH
KATHERINE WEBB
KENDRA WILKINSON

Any early favorites you’re rooting for?

I was very interested in seeing this show, and how it would play out. There is definitely a wide variety of celebrities on this list and I really wanted to see how Kareem did since he is so tall. Since I had to work my shift at DISH last night when Splash aired, I made sure to record it. I watched it this morning on my DISH Hopper, and since it can instantly skip commercials on recorded prime time TV I was able to watch it and get the kids ready for school in time.
