Phineas and Ferb: The Perry Files – Animal Agents DVD Review

If you are a fan of Phineas and Ferb specifically a Perry the Platypus fan get ready to be excited because Agent P has a whole new slew of adventures for you. As Phineas an Ferb have gained popularity I think Perry the Platypus completely stole the show. Hot off the heels of the popular Where’s My Perry? App, this DVD comes at a great time as we all want to know more about that sneaky pet that always seems to disappear.

Phineas and Ferb: The Perry Files – Animal Agents DVD features 12 adventures and chronicles the missions of Perry the Platypus and his Animal Agents.

Official Synopsis: How well does anyone really know their pet… or ANY animal? Behind a cute and/or cuddly exterior there may lurk a cunning crime-fighter with a brown fedora, a top-secret identity and a license to thrill! Meet the heroic Animal Agents of the O.W.C.A. (Organization Without A Cool Acronym) when “Phineas and Ferb: Animal Agents” comes to DVD on February 26, 2013.

Join Perry the Platypus – a.k.a. Agent P – and his fellow operatives as they team up to thwart Dr. Doofenshmirtz and his dastardly “Inators.” Be they furry or feathered, scaly or slimy, these fearless agents roll over for nobody when it comes to crushing evil in the Tri-State Area and beyond. Fully loaded with over two hours of animated animal-themed adventures, including the exciting, two-part “Phineas And Ferb” cliffhanger “Where’s Perry?”, “Phineas and Ferb: Animal Agents” is a fun filled, action-packed laughfest that will drive audiences wild!

With Vincent Martella (TV’s “Everybody Hates Chris”) as the voice of Phineas, Thomas Brodie-Sangster (“Nanny McPhee”) as the voice of Ferb, Ashley Tisdale (“Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure”) as the voice of Candace, Dan Povenmire as the voice of Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz, Alyson Stoner (“Step Up 3D,” “Camp rock 1& 2″) as the voice of Isabella and Caroline Rhea (TV’s “The Suite Life of Zach and Cody”) as the voice of Mom.

“Lotsa Latkes”
“Agent Doof”
“Where’s Perry Part 1″
“Where’s Perry Part 2″
“What’d I Miss”

Let me tell you my daughter and I enjoyed sitting and watching this together. I regularly watch the Phineas and Ferb Disney Channel episodes with her and so these were nice to watch since I hadn’t already seen them. There is so much content in this one DVD that it will keep your little one occupied for a long while. My favorites where “Journey to the Center of Candace” and “Where’s Perry Part 1 & 2″.

Besides the the surprising amount of episodes which will entertain you for approximately 155 minutes, there are so many extras included. There are some fun Phineas and Ferb shorts, bonus features including some celebrity cameos and a fun spy kit. The Spy Kit includes a pair of foldable binoculars, official O.W.C.A note sheets, trading cards, and an official O.W.C.A ID badge.

This DVD is a must for fans of the show. Keep an eye out for the release on February 26, 2013.

Are you a Perry the Platypus fan? Will you be picking this DVD up?

About Paula Garcia

I am a Latina wife, mother of a 5 year old precious little girl, and a long time Disney enthusiast. We are a Disney Family and watch our Disney movie collection often. It is a great joy to see my daughter lost in the magic and wonder of those stories. Nothing brings a smile to my heart more than watching her sing a long with the characters, or when she talks to her cousins and tells them, "You have to believe in the magic, you just HAVE to believe!" In the last few years our family has done quite a few Disney related activities. Whether visiting the park for the first time as a family in Orlando or enjoying a cruise on the Disney Fantasy we never get tired and we are always impressed. I enjoy staying up to date with anything Disney related from the Disney Parks to movies, shows and products. My current obsession is Vinylmations. When not writing here, I talk about Disney, motherhood, and more on my blog.
