New Adventure At Disney’s Animal Kingdom Highlights New Way to See The Park

Back in September of 2011 (not a typo) an interactive explorers guide themed to the Wilderness Explorers from Pixar’s UP was tested at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Disney just announced that it will be back again beginning in the spring. The adventure involves following field guides, completing challenges, and earning badges at stations around the park. There will be more than 30 badges to be earned by those on the Wilderness Explorer adventure.

From what I’ve heard this will not be a technological game like Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom is, but it will have guests traipsing all over the park looking for clues and accomplishing minor tasks to complete the adventure. It’s not an E-Ticket, but it is a great way to extend the experience, especially for families for whom this is not their first visit to DAK.

Are you ready to join Russell and become a Wilderness Explorer?
