Belle’s Village Details – New Fantasyland Dress Rehearsal

Gaston’s Statue fills up the square with his magnificence, even at night.

One of the things that impressed me about Belle’s Village in New Fantasyland is how the details work to make you feel like you’ve actually stepped into the movie. From boxes of books left on the bookstore’s backdoor to a water fountain disguised as a water pump, it all works together to build a convincing illusion.

There are more details than I could possibly include in an update, but here are 10 that really stood out to me as I toured the land.

I haven’t yet seen Enchanted Tales with Belle, but I love the attraction sign

Themed to Belle’s Bookstore, this is a fun location with lots of treasures. The sign is admittedly a bit plain, but the hardware and light is gorgeous.

There are a few painted signs for faux stores. This is very French.

Beautiful lamp with a nice orange glow at night and a stained glass window with the letter G… I wonder who that is for

Love how the books make it look like someone was just here, perhaps Belle.

very well themed water fountain.

Love the extra details on the figures for male and female

Even the wheelchair figure gets a French farmer hat.

Even the window frame gets great themeing. This faux wood doesn’t need to have a wooden peg, but they added it anyway.
