New Look Inside Be Our Guest Restaurant, Little Mermaid Marquee

Under the Sea ~ Journey of the Little Mermaid Marquee

Disney World has released three exciting new images that tease the great things to come when the Fairytale Forest section of New Fantasyland opens this fall. Above is the new Marquee to “Under the Sea ~ Journey of The Little Mermaid.” The entrance sign features this beautiful sculpture of Ariel as a figurehead on the bow of a crashed ship. Behind it is Prince Eric’s Castle and the sea cliffs which hide the queue and the attraction itself.

Below is the Rose Gallery, previously unseen dining rooms of the Be Our Guest restaurant. There are three total. Featuring a large music box centerpiece nearly 7 feet tall with Belle and the Beast slowly twirling atop. Adorned with rose accents, paintings and tapestries, the Rose Gallery features French-inspired cuisine for quick-service lunch.

We’ve seen teases of the Be Our Guest ballroom before, but not in its final state. Decorated with a coffered, 20-foot ceiling with fluffy clouds and cherubs, the restaurant’s largest dining room features sparkling chandeliers designed to convey the elegance of the Beast’s Castle in “Beauty and the Beast.”

I’ve been hearing differing rumors about when Be Our Guest will open for dining. It sounds like it might open for casual dining at lunch a few weeks before the sit down service for dinner begins, which could be delayed until late November.

What do you think of these latest sneak peeks from Disney?
