Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion Reopens with Nightmare Before Christmas Overlay

Haunted Mansion Holiday at Disneyland

This weekend marked the official return to Halloween at Disneyland. Once again Jack Skellington and the gang from Nightmare Before Christmas has taken over the Haunted Mansion to create Haunted Mansion Holiday. Technical director Joe Peters gives us a fantastic tour of the creative overlay while his crew completed the final touches on the 18-day transformation.

While Haunted Mansion Holiday and It’s A Small World Holiday are both fantastic overlays, perhaps there is room for another attraction or two? Nominate another Disneyland Resort attraction that would be great to see with a Christmas makeover in the comments.

I would nominate Storybookland and Casey Jr. for a Christmas Holiday Makeover. The miniatures would be so beautiful all decorated and lit up with Christmas decorations and lights. I believe that they do have some decorations at Christmas but if they could do an entire makeover it would be fabulous!
