Disney Takes Social Media Moms On The Road

Disney Social Media Moms Road Show

Somehow how this flew under my radar, but thanks to Suzanna Keith (pictured above with Olympian Shannon Miller) who submitted a report, I learned that the Disney World Moms Panel has scheduled mini-Disney Social Media Moms events across the country. I love to see Disney out participating in the community like this. I’m a big believer that you get back what you put out in terms of social media.

“Social Media Moms Celebration On the Road” (hashtag #Disneyontheroad or #disneysmmoms) launched with a Houston, TX event the Westin Oaks hotel. It featured a keynote from Shannon Miller, a panel of momprenuers with great advice for maintaining your personal brand (be your own CEO), and a lot more. Including the chance to network with like-minded people from your community. Always an important part of these events.

Future events include Charlotte and Long Island. The Charlotte event is tomorrow and the events are invite only. However, if you are attending, I’d love to get more reports from the event.

More from the event in Suzaana’s report.

Thanks so much for this report- can’t wait for next week in Long Island! #DisneyOnTheRoad

  2. Joanie says:

The Houston Disney on the Road was a huge success. The speakers were so inspiring and the panel of entrepreneurs taking and answering questions was invaluable. I’m so fortunate to have been able to attend.

Flew under my radar just the same! Shame on me. I followed it very closely via Twitter and turned green with envy knowing I couldn’t be in attendance.

And speaking of Suzanna Keith, she’s reached out to me for coffee, in an effort to meet in person. How lucky am I? No, really, how lucky AM I?
