Lincoln To Debut Trailer in Google+ Hangout

A short teaser trailer from Steven Spielberg’s “Lincoln” has been released. Its goal is to get the public excited about the debut of the first full length trailer for the movie. The full trailer will be released in a special Google+ Hangout on September 13th at 7pm EDT. After the trailer stick around for an interview with Steven Spielberg and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

Steven Spielberg directs two-time Academy Award® winner Daniel Day-Lewis in “Lincoln,” a revealing drama that focuses on the 16th President’s tumultuous final months in office. In a nation divided by war and the strong winds of change, Lincoln pursues a course of action designed to end the war, unite the country and abolish slavery. With the moral courage and fierce determination to succeed, his choices during this critical moment will change the fate of generations to come.

I have to say that as a Disney fan, I’m used to one particular voice being associated with Abe Lincoln. But even that isn’t strictly true. Royal Dano did the voice from 1966 through 2001 and Warren Burton took over from there. It’s going to take some getting used to Day-Lewis’ voice being there instead. How about you?
