Preview Winnie The Pooh Soundtrack

Parlez Vous Francais? Non? Well even if you don’t speak French, you can still enjoy a sneak peak of the Soundtrack to the new Winnie The Pooh Movie. But hurry, it will only be available until April 11th.

To get the preview you’ll have to visit the Disney France web site. At Disney.fr select that you want that site, not the generic Disney Int’l site. Then click on the graphic for the Winnie the Pooh album, with the text “EXCLUSIVITÉ Ecoutez les chansons du film jusqu’au 11 avril.”

Zooey Deschanel is featured in the theme song, which, has some differences from the traditional version that might take a little getting used to, like a swing beat. The rest of the songs seem pretty good, reminding me even a little of Peter Pan.

It also looks like Hugh Jackman has a few songs on the album. Just don’t let Wolverine into the 100 Acre Wood. Oh wait, that’s Henry Jackman… the composer. Good job Henry.

  3. The only song I like is the cover of the theme.

Also, “A Very Important Thing to Do” is cute.

But the rest of the songs are below par. The “Backson” song is like a badly rehashed version of “Heffalumps & Woozles”.

  4. The songs are outstanding. My two favorites have to be Everything is Honey and The Backson Song. These songs are going to be right up there with classics like Under the Sea and Whole New World.
