Videopolis: Whistle Stop

I’m a big fan of Disney’s Robin Hood movie. Not only does it have two characters sharing my name (Little John / Prince John), but it came out in 1973, so it was probably the first animated film I saw in theaters (I would have been 4 yrs old). For this week’s Videopolis I present just a simple song, the Whistle Stop by Roger Miller, played on the Ukulele, which you probably recognize from the movie.

How’s that for an earworm?

And of course, when you speed the song up to 2x or 3x its speed, it’s the Dancing Hamster song from years ago when the web was shiny and new…
