First Killer Whale ever born at SeaWorld Orlando dies at age 25

After a brief illness, Kalina, the first Killer Whale born at the SeaWorld Orlando facility, has died. Kalina was 25 years old and had given birth to several calves of her own. An exact cause of death will be determined after a necropsy.

This continues a sad day at SeaWorld where a guest died at Aquatica earlier Monday. Also a Killer Whale died at the SeaWorld San Diego park just over a month ago. Our thoughts go out to the team at SeaWorld in this difficult time.
