Disneyland fetes grads with grants

Disneyland has always been close to the community of Anaheim (the politicians is sometimes a different matter). Each year since 2005, the resort has recognized 10 outstanding Orange County high school seniors with a $5,000 scholarship. This year’s “prize patrol” visited students at their schools, highlighting not only their academic success, but also their service to the community.

Since Disneyland draws a large portion of its workforce from local students, this sort of out reach makes good business sense as well. Each of the recipients seen in the video will be recognized at a special dinner at the resort on May 19th. Congratulations to all of them
