You know a film has high expectations for a studio when they hire writers to start working on a sequel even before the finished product enters theaters. But that’s exactly what has happened with TRON Legacy. The Hollywood Reporter notes that the screenwriters for TRON Legacy have been told to get to work on a sequel.
I think it’s a good move that will allow Disney to generate a quick turn around on a second (and possibly third film) in the series with eventual plans to turn this into a television series, or perhaps a spin off.
wow.. they must have HUGE amount of faith in this.

a Tron MMORPG is the most logically obvious thing I can conceive of…it HAS to be done next year!
