New image from TRON: Legacy – Jeff Bridges

I’m loving this new photo of Jeff Bridges as Kevin Flynn. It’s so dark and broody. TRON 2.0 is not your father’s Tron.

Image Caption: Jeff Bridges, winner of both a Golden Globe® and Screen Actors Guild Award®—and now an Oscar® nominee—for his performance in “Crazy Heart,” stars in TRON: LEGACY, a 3D high-tech adventure set in a digital world that’s unlike anything ever captured on the big screen. Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund), the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn (Bridges), looks into his father’s disappearance and finds himself pulled into the digital world of Tron where his father has been living for 25 years. Together, they embark on a life-and-death journey of escape across a visually-stunning and exceedingly dangerous cyber universe. The film hits U.S. theaters Dec. 17, 2010.

  1. The movie is Tron Legacy or Tron 2.0 correct? It’s not using TR2N in any way? I ask because of the initial video released at CC in SD.

  2. TR2N was the name of the clip shown at CC. That clip is not actual footage from the movie, but rather just a proof of concept production. Tron: Legacy is the current name of the film coming out this year. I’m happy they didn’t go with something really cheesy like Tron: Legacy of the CPU. :)
