Artist William Bezek has a personal history with Disneyland. Much of his family including his Grandfather worked at Disneyland and he spent countless days in the park throughout his childhood. One of his favorite attractions was The Haunted Mansion, so it is not surprising when the well known imagery creeps into his work intentionally or not. This tribute to Madame Leota was very much intentional.
