The Great Job Search Ride

A week later and I’m still on the hunt for a new job in Orlando, FL. The skills of running and promoting The Disney Blog are applicable to anyone who needs to manage an online community or brand. I’ve also recently managed a CRM Database, eNewsletter, and eCommerce website along with other marketing skills. Please check out my previous post for more details about my search.

There has been some good news; including an interview with a legendary company I’ve been a fan of for years. I’d be very honored to be a part of helping to grow its future. We’ll see how that turns out in a few weeks.

I invite you to connect with me on LinkedIn, Facebook, and/or Emurse and be a part of my job search network. If you have a few minutes to review my resume (see Emurse link), offer suggestions, or help me refine my job search, please contact me via email.

John, even though I’m a college student in Indiana with few connections and no real help to offer, I wish you the best of luck! You run a great site, and I’m glad that these troubling times haven’t stopped you from doing something you love doing and we love reading.

If your blog is any indication, you do excellent work. Hang in there. I hope you get good news soon.

Disney IS hiring. I know that’s probably not what you want but it’s out there. You’d be surprised what you can get into. If you need a reference let me know.

BTW I’m pretty sure that VP of Transportation spot was filled within. If not you couldn’t possibly do a worse job then Kevin Lansberry.

Song for Miley Cyrus (The Art From The Heaven) available on E-Bay now…….Open for all the bidder out there now…..

  5. I hope you’re finding some good leads! I know it’s rough out there right now (I’m on the hunt myself), but you’re a talented person and I’m sure you’ll find something great. Keep your head up!

There are a growing amount of jobs in the social media/blog field. It’s such an awesome job to get into because it puts you up front with the people, which is something you’ve been doing. I hope all goes well!
