Walt Disney World Visitors Being Testing for Swine Flu

Students who traveled to Walt Disney World with a school group have returned sick to Greenville, South Carolina with flu like symptoms. They are being tested to see if they have swine flu. Meanwhile their school is closed as a precaution.

Update: I think it’s important to note, that it is not known where in Orlando these students got sick, if it was in Orlando at all. Frankly, the close quarters of being on a bus ride from Greenville is a much bigger contributor to a flu virus being passed along. So let’s not jump to conclusions.

As the WHO said yesterday, it’s best to take basic precautions such as washing your hands regularly and getting lots of rest if you do feel flu like symptoms. With attendance levels already dropping at some local parks, having to worry about additional travel drop-offs is not something central Florida’s attractions need right now.
