Thank God for Third Shift. There were many nights I closed the park, and many early mornings I opened the park. Night Custodial often "inherits" a park that has been through the wringer with scores of thousands of guests and cast members having been there all day. As the sun rises the next morning, the hard toil of Night Custodial... all of the vacuuming, dusting, wiping, hosing, scrubbing, polishing, brassing, and so forth has restored the park to a sparkling clean state.

In Day Custodial, it often felt like we were just just trying to keep things from entirely going to pieces long enough to get Night Custodial back in to take over again.
