Shanghai’s Disney Theme Park, an early visit

Theme Park Guy, whose mission is to visit and chronicle every theme park on the planet, has an extra-early report from the future site of Disney’s next theme park. As has been rumored for months, it will be located outside of Shanghai, which is on mainland China, and will be Disney’s third resort in Asia.

Visit Theme Park Guy’s report from the scene and you’ll enjoy beautiful scenes of trees, farmland, and a village (which may or may not need to be moved to make way for Disney). Absolutely no sign of any construction, which makes sense, as everyone is apparently waiting for China’s central government to give the green light.

One thing that is nice about this location is the close transportation. There’s a major highway and even a bullet train. No word if they’ll be adding a stop close to the park.
