From Dark Horizons we learn that Pirates Of The Caribbean co-scribe Terry Rossio has denied the veracity of all the rumors about the fourth edition of the series.
On his official blog Rossio says, “none of the recent Pirates 4 rumors have any truth, including the so-called record 50 million dollar payday for Depp. Some pretty funny stuff, though. Sacha Cohen? Tim Burton? Studios are way too protective of their franchises for that sort of thing”
If I was Tim Burton, I might be a little offended.
The one rumor that is true, is that there will be a fourth film with Johnny Depp returning as Captain Jack Sparrow. Well that’s good news.
