I guess I have gotten used to the aesthetic of the first three and would hate to see a departure from that. Tim Burton is a great director in his own quirky way, but I honestly think that he would ruin everything that POTC is. Personally, I'm not sure I even want to see another Pirates film. Now don't get me wrong, if one is made, I'll go see it. I'm too obsessed to not see it. It's just that I love the first 3 so much, and I just don't want to see it go downhill. I especially don't want to see it turned into some kind of freaky Burtonesque film. Ah well, in the end, no one will ask for or care about my opinion.
