Disney Cruise Line announces European Excursions for 2010

At a press event today Disney Cruise Line announced that the Disney Magic would take a 5 month journey to european waters in 2010. Meanwhile the Disney Wonder will take extended trips in the Caribbean. This is all in preperation for the arrival of the first of two new ships that are as of yet unnamed.

I checked in on the Meyer Werft webcams today and neither is showing Disney’s new ship yet. So either they’re using a different facility or Disney’s ship is still in the waiting queue. Anybody reading this live close enough to go check it out in person for me?

  1. When Disney announced the 2 new ships were being built at Meyer Werft, they also said that the ships would not be shown on their webcam. That way cruisers would be surprised when they come out of the covered buildings.

  2. They did announce today that one of the excursions might be to the Meyer Werft ship yard when in Germany to see the new ships being built. No need to have the excursion if the web cam is on.
