DisFriends is closing
Sad to hear that DisFriends.com, a Disney Fan centric Social Network, is closing. It just got to be too much work with not enough reward for the webmaster. Too bad. He had a great vision and in less than a year built a wonderful community.
Of course, this leaves to door open to do it themselves… or you could go to the Disney Family website and use the official Disney Social Network.

Where did you hear this? Is it announced somewhere on their site? Wonder if they’d be interested in selling the property?

Yes, it’s official, I’ve decided to move on from DisFriends mostly because I don’t have the time to dedicate to it. I’ve now put the domain name, logo + graphics, and more up for auction on eBay. Just search eBay for disfriends and you’ll find the listing.
Domain is listed on eBay now, starting bid $499…..
He’s reversed his decision, no longer selling or closing – just installing new software and taking on moderators.
