It's about time they revamped Star Tours, imho. But it'd be cool to have the old film in at least one of the theaters so guests have a choice.

As for Soarin', I like the idea of a 7 Wonders of the World film, maybe incorporating the earlier mentioned idea of showing the different areas of the earth, such as the deserts, arctic poles, rainforests, etc. This would work especially well at Epcot, where it would tie into the World Showcase.

I think Soarin' Over California should remain the same in one theater at each park, then you could choose which "Adventure" you want.

But I like Soarin' Over California! I agree with Kurt. They should have two films at DCA. The California film never made any sense at Epcot.

Since Soarin' is in The Land at Epcot, it should take guests to notable natural landmarks and places... the driest areas of Chile, the South Pole, over a lava flow in Hawaii... you get the idea. Not sure how that would fit in with plans for DCA, but then I don't know that the name/theme of that place will be when they are all done.

I've heard the concept for Star Tours 2.0 and it sounds great. It is about time.

Those South American falls that were shown in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

They should leave the original on one side and put the new one on the other side, at least for a few years, IMHO. Don't change the fantastic theme!

I'm one of those people who doesn't want to lose what they've already got. But I am looking forward to something new as well. I wish there were some way we could do both.

They absolutely have to hang glide over the pyramids of Egypt, Victoria Falls in Southern Africa, Angel Falls in Venezuela, Antarctica, and Mount Everest. I doubt I'll ever get to any of those places.

That's pretty rad. Despite being a huge Star Wars fan, I'm actually looking forward to the Soarin' revamp the most. Great Wall of China, anyone?
