Sell Parks and Resorts? Wow...I don't know that that's a good idea, no matter the fiscal details. There has to be a better solution.

Yes that Japanese hotel is nice, but I think part of the Disney legacy is that it should be affordable to all.

But then, I'm the type of person who even when I have my pick of resorts, will choose Pop Century over Grand Floridian every time. LOL

Perhaps instead of rehashing rides and attractions, they should put that money towards new ideas. Instead of opening up parks all over the world, they should work on making the ones they have even better.

It's been 10 years since they've opened a new park at WDW and look how long it's taken them to get attractions like Expedition Everest and Finding Nemo the musical in there.

Let's not even talk about how long it's been since they've updated long-running attractions like Star Tours' movie (like...never??).

But I think the worst thing they could do is raise the prices to the point where going to Disney is a special club for only those that can afford to spend mega bucks.

Maybe make special pass price levels, with special perks or experiences for higher priced passes, or charge for a fastpass, but don't make the parks unaffordable for moderate income families that should experience the magic for themselves.

That just wouldn't be right.
