There are over 20,000 hotel rooms on site, so it is hard to imagine what they are thinking. A small city with 20,000 residents will usually have at least one nightclub in addition to several bars. The lounges at the resorts are nice, because they provide one of the few places at Disney World where you can escape the crowds. However, a lot of people like to dance and party, and Disney is forcing guests to go off site do do that. When there was a single admission price, PI was always packed. This is just one more example of the incompetence of Disney World's management. I have visited Disney World over 15 times in the last 20 years, and I think I'm done. Congratulations to WDW - the entire West end of Downtown Disney had decayed to a crime ridden dangerous pest - my wife & I avoided it like the plague, and stuck to the East End shopping area. Here's hoping that WDW will transform the West End Hole into something worthy of the Disney name... more high end restaurants, shopping, and a shuttle buss area free of thugs. If they finally bring the entire Downtown Disney Area up to the level of the REAL parks by fencing it in? I couldn't be happier.
