Sigh…the sorry state of journalism in the US is to blame. Ever since News programs were required to be “entertaining” and be ratings driven instead of actually NEWS driven? The US Media blows.

I blame the broadcast journalism mentality. I went to college with plenty of “reporters” who didn’t care about perfecting their writing or doing research. They just wanted to be in front of the camera.

I wouldn’t blame Fox for this. It’s the local affiliate. Fox doesn’t control what they do. They have their own news divisions just like the ones we have here. One dumb reporter doesn’t cast the network in doubt, it cast the reporter in doubt.
