Mr. Whitmore was responsible for Jin’s death because he had his people put the bomb on the boat. But no worries, people come back from the dead on that island. Remember Jason? He was the one who stuck the needle in Sawyers chest and Sayid broke his neck and killed him. Well, he’s back. He was sitting by the fire with Richard when Locke came back to the village of the others, only now, Jason is more buff. He was also in the forest with the others. They showed his face plain as day. So basically, they do come back from the dead. So I feel, don’t worry about Jin. I think that’s why they want Locke’s coffin back on the island, because the island brings them back to life.

And my one random lingering question…what ever happened to Desmond’s vision of Claire & Aaron getting on a helicopter?

Desmond lied to Charlie to get his reunion with Penny. At least, that is one of the most likely explanations.

I wish I had paid better attention to that Sun/Widmore conversation. I know there was lots to it. Sun is definitely out for blood. I think she’s just OVER all of it and wants some revenge. And I think next season we’ll see Sun continue to make HER way regardless of the rest of the O6.

The frozen room is beyond my thought process. It’s either alien-leftovers or an ancient ruin still living in the past…or who knows? I just can’t even fathom that.

I was reading about the raft and the possible freighter survivors…when the helicopter/06 guys looked out, they didn’t see anything floating around…and that other little island Jack was talkinga bout. Maybe there’s a little band around the island that was included (oh yeah, like the Looking Glass station!)

I know, I’m thinking Jin is dead, too. When we first saw Jin’s tombstone, I figured it was just a cover-up. But I think Sun thinks he’s dead. But I think she blames Jack, not Ben. Jack is the one who took control of them in the heli and didn’t let Kate get Jin. Just my thoughts.

Oh yeah, Ben & Penny. You know they’ll have to get back to that. That whole Ben/Widmore relationship is just WEIRD.

I’m with Jackie – I’ve called Richard “eyeliner guy” since day one! :)
I’ve felt like Daniel knew a whole lot from the first time he appeared. Plus, he has done the time travel thing. Also, he had a picture of the Orchid in his journal. I think he’s been to the island before – he just knows too much.

Sun – I’m not sure she’s helping Whidmore. I find it very telling that when he asked “Why are you helping me?” she refrained from answering. I can see her as being at the point where people are just tools for her to use to reach her end goal.

I’ll be interested to see how the dynamics play out next season. Hurley was the only one there for Sun after her daughter was born – does that mean she still has a soft spot for him? And if she’s okay with Hurley, will she be okay with Sayid by default? Surely she can sympathize with him (since he lost Naida).

And does she blame only Jack for Jin dying – or does she also blame Kate? Did she realize that Kate was trying to get to Jin, when Jack pulled her back? I would have thought she would have remained closer to the only other woman who left the island – and the other child from the island. Does she have anger towards Kate for “snuggling up” to Jack?

Sun deserves an Emmy. Hands down.

I think the one question that I want answered among all questions is what is up with the frozen room? I’m guessing that is where the polar bears come from.

Why does Ben kill the guy with the monitor? Because the people on the boat, whoever they may be, know about the island. He probably believes that they are the mercenariness whose leader killed his daughter. Even if he knows that they are Oceanic, it doesn’t matter because all who know of the island who aren’t part of his group are dangerous.

I’m wondering if the people in the raft were close enough to get pulled with the island or not.

And I’m wondering if we’ll skip ahead and be back on the island when season 5 opens or if we’ll do a parallel story like you suggest.

I’m sad to report, but I think Jin is dead. According to a scoop at TV Guide, they said they were going to kill 3 original cast members. By my calculations, that’s Michael, Jin, and Locke. Of course, Locke probably will still be a major character on the show for at least a little while since that was a flash forward, but you never know.

And here’s what I’m thinking. In part one, Sun said she planned to get back at both men she held responsible for Jin’s death. One was her own father for putting them in a situation where they got on that plane in the first place. The other is…Ben for killing the guy with the heart moniter? Of course, she doesn’t have any way of knowing that, now that I think about it. Still, that was my guess last night. She was going to meet up with Widmore to try to fight Ben before he killed Penny.

Unfortunately, remember that Ben is trying to kill Penny. I was so afraid they’d do something to her or Desmond last night I almost couldn’t watch. But I have a feeling that they won’t get their happy ending by the time the show is over.
