Jungle Cruise Stand Up Comedy Night

It’s great stuff like this that really makes me miss living in Southern California. But then I remember the traffic, the high cost of living, and the SMOG and I’m happy to be in Orlando again. Anyway, I digress. The great stuff is this Stand Up Comedy night featuring the wit and repertoire of Disneyland’s famous Jungle Cruise skippers.

The show features a volatile mixture of current and former skippers, hysterical videos, and other nonsense. It is unlike any comedy show that you have ever been too. Some of our Skippers have performed professionally while others will be taking the stage for the first time, without a script, and without management supervision.

The show is held in an intimate cabaret setting for one low price and no drink minimums, so you can sit back and enjoy the show. (The theatre does have a bar. These are Skippers after all).

You’ve enjoyed their (sometimes) ad-hoc humor on the famous attraction, marveled at how they turn the essentially dry script given to them by Imagineering into a series of guffaws that threaten to scare the hippos into the trees, now you can see them really off the cuff at a quarterly event called "Skipper Stand Up Comedy". The next one will be held this Sunday the 20th at 7pm in Fullerton and they are known to sell out early, so don’t count on walk-up tickets. (via Around Disney)
