Industrial Light & Magic’s ‘The Show: Pirates Of The Caribbean 2‘, which features behind the scenes secrets from ILM’s work on the sequel is nominated in two categories for the Best Use of Video or Moving Image and Movies and Film. It requires some pretty high bandwidth, but if you’re a fan of the series, or special effects work in general, this is one amazing site.
I was a little surprised that more Disney stuff didn’t make the list. But then you have to pay a fee to be considered. I’m guessing that wasn’t in Disney’s budget. Then again not everything has to push the design limit.
