Fans of Donald Duck, Panchito, and Jose Carioca (the stars of Walt Disney’s The Cabelleros) will be happy that they are now featured in Epcot’s Mexico Attraction. Those who are expecting to be not so happy with the change, may want to wait to experience the attraction themselves before rendering final judgement.
If you can’t make it to Epcot soon, LaughingPlace.com has been so kind as to add a full ride through movie and some pictures to their Lotion section. I hope to get a chance to go on the renovated attraction tomorrow, but I like what I see so far. I’ve been deliberately staying out of the ‘no more characters in Epcot’ debate until we see what they did with this renovation.
To go with the renovation, the attraction has also been renamed to "Gran Fiesta Tour"
I’ll be there in three weeks so I’m excited to see the changes!!! I like that relaxing little boat ride…especially with a margarita!
Disgusting. Revamped into utter stupidity. Used to be a captivating experience, now is a loud barrage of video and video promotion. Hope the trend doesn’t continue into World Showcase and infect/destroy the rest of the featured countries.
