Lien Removed from Cinderella Castle

As is common practice in construction disputes, a lien was placed against Cinderella Castle, site of some insulation work that where the subcontractor had yet to be paid. The lien, which was placed February 1st, has been removed now that matters have been settled between the two construction companies.

It’s a bizarre twist in the history of Disney’s landmark attraction. The castle now features a "Royal Suite", that can only be won as part of the Year of A Million Dreams contest. This room was originally meant as an apartment for the Disney family, but was never used for that purpose. (Read)
