The Disney Shopping Experience

Children’s Place reports they’re looking to extend their relationship as sole licensee of The Disney Store brand. As part of the negotiations, they’re expecting the Walt Disney Company to make more demands. I guess I should give them another chance, but I haven’t found a reason to visit a Disney Store since Children’s Place took over and closed down some of my favorite locations. They’re going to have to do something really special to get me back as a customer.

PSFK has something that just might fit that bill. This interactive mirror heralds the age of social retailing. Disney has been picked as a likely early leader in the field. So you might see something like this in Downtown Disney, but I think it would be a great fit in a revamped Disney store.
