Finding Nemo The Musical on DisneyMotion

It’s been far too long since I’ve seen a showing of Finding Nemo The Musical. But this video on DisneyMotion has me itching to get back soon. It’s a short informational piece with lots of rehearsal clips and a great clip of puppet designer Michael Curry (looking very young – how could he be so young and have designed puppets for Disneyland’s The Lion King Celebration back in 1994) explaining how the puppets were built to be light weight and to allow the actors to shine through in their performances. We saw the Finding Nemo show at Animal Kingdom in late November, and it was great. Very innovative. However, they had technical difficulties about halfway through, and we never got to see the end.
