It’s the time of the year for top 10 lists and the NY Times theater critic has drawn up his own. What’s notable about the list is not that it doesn’t include any Disney musicals, but rather the small correction at the bottom of the article. It seems that Disney’s Tarzan has made so little an impact on the critic’s psyche that he assumed it had failed and closed.
Not so. It’s still doing good numbers, but just not drawing in the type of audience that includes critics, I guess. (Read)
