Screamscape has a couple major scoops for the new SeaWorld Orlando Waterpark. First they posted photos of the park model. There are lots of attractions with double features (twin spinners, twin wave pools, etc), so they can offer differing experiences in each and make sure capacity issues are met. Anybody know if they’re putting in any of those ‘Water Coasters’ that Schlitterbahn created? You can also find one at Typhoon Lagoon?
Then they scooped that the new name for the park Aquatica was also the name of the ill-fated research laboratory in the Samuel L Jackson film Deep Blue Sea. Let’s hope that’s not an omen.
